This Professional Avalanche Training Course (stage one) is developed for people involved in the safety of alpine recreational activities. It is the first stage of obtaining professional avalanche qualifications such as Avalanche Stage Two and Diploma in Avalanche Studies. A fun yet intense seven day residential course based at our centre at the foot of Tongariro National Park
FINE TUNE YOUR ALPINE SKILLS
We also offer 2 and 5 day mountaineering courses to teach you the skills of exploring the mountain safely. These courses will cover loads of skills including; navigation, negotiating snow and ice covered terrain, self rescue and rope work.
