The season is over and it was a good one.
I got the pleasure of drinking out of the "Rider of the year" cup, at the NZsnowboard.com Riders Poll awards a few weeks back.

While I was Cleaning the house in Wanaka i managed to get a few days riding in up Cardrona in the "Olympic Halfpipe Training Camp" After the the lifts closed. And I have to day the John Melville has taken pipe shaping to a new art form. I never knew that riding a pipe could be so easy. (I'm looking forward to spending some more time in there next season.
Than I got the call that Mt Hutt had a Jump built for us so it was time to pack the car and head away while everyone else seamed to be thinking about summer and going camping. I got some strange looks in late October when i tried to pay for the gas wearing snowboard pants and goggles.
Mt Hutt was shut for the season and it was weird being up there after the lifts had been shut down.
J Mac was there to get the shot.
Here's a sneak peak of the feature the Mt Hutt boys built. (Thanks)
And I even got a ride to the top for my last turns of the NZ winter. Or will I still be riding in November somewhere? Ill let you know.
