Kit having fun at the cheapskates Terrain Park at Rainbow

 It was the most fantastic day on Saturday 5th September 100% Pure NZ dazzle.

We were at the most lovely wedding.

Rose (ski patroller at Rainbow and sea kayak guide for us) and Barney got married on the shores of Lake Rotoiti.  Rose in a beautiful gown arrived in a waka.

Framed by the mountains with the lake like a mill pond.  

The welcome was called forth by Tina from the Jetty. Goosebumps

went up my spine as as Leeanne echoed back from the waka.The beautiful resonant Maori language drifting to the bridegroom, and us, waiting, on the shore. Rose framed by the paddles.of her paddling companions. Breathtakingly lovely,and heatbreakingly moving.

While I had a lump in my throat as I listened to this lovely pair announce their vows to each other. Kit was having a great time in the cheapskates terrain park at Rainbow.

Such is the gorgeous place that is St Arnaud
