The South Island Champs/Canterbury Champs were held this weekend at Mt Hutt.
Saturday dawned fine and clear. The snow was hard and fast and visability was perfect.
This is the event that all the junior racers look forward to all season and conditions was perfect!

The Mt Hutt Race department, as usual delivered a great race, and all the participants had perfect race conditions
Team Hutt has some great up and coming racers, which is very exciting for the future.
Young Sam Bushell was on the podium making Mum and Dad very proud and becoming the K1 Champion.

The J2 and overall South Island champion was Jamie Prebble (another Canterbury lad) who is on the NZ development team.
