Touring Black Peak
It was 4.30pm on Tuesday the 23rd of September, finally the weather had broken and we had a clearing in the clouds with more settled winds. The forecast was bang on and all going well Wednesday was going to bring us a fine day before the next front pushed through.

2009 has been an epic season in NZ. For a bit we experienced an Indian Spring with warm winds and hot sunny days and people busted out shorts and tee's, they dusted off their bikes and got ready for summer activities.
SPRING HAS SPRUNG
We celebrated the first day of spring last week with "Hawaiian day" at Racers Edge although the weather did not want to play the game....

Due to all the goings on in Wanaka over the next couple of weeks I have had the chance to spend some time with some pretty interesting people....
Rental Rash?
After finally recovering from a two week rental rash during school holidays covering Shaker’s belt of swine flu or man flu or whatever it was I finally got the chance to ditch work and pull rank by executing powder clause 33 on page 103 of my contract. Ironically it just happened to be the best day yet!
