Alright, where to start.... My name is Charles Cochrane, I grew up in South Canterbury and was schooled in Christchurch. I have been skiing since I was two years old and still love it! Although I was out all of last season due to injury I am back on some 186 Volkl Gotama's this year and loving every minute of it...
My favourite mountain is the great Treble Cone in Wanaka and of course my favourite ski shop is Racers Edge where i am part owner with Lucy Fullerton and the famous 'Shaker' whom I am sure many of you will have heard of. He has been part of the shop for 20 years this year (and I think will be there for 20 more..) he loves that place and to be fair it wouldn't be the same without him...
Before Racers Edge I worked as an account manager at Volkl NZ for four years so as you can tell I am pretty passionate about skiing and the ski industry.
Between skiing, working and hanging out with Jordi, my friends and my dog Paddy I get to do some pretty cool things so will keep you updated on the latest here in Wanaka....
