Blood & Front Flips!!

Last Friday I went over to Queenstown for the Parklife invitational Rail Jam. This week school has bombed me with deadlines which is why it's taken me so long to get this written up, so apologies for the old news.

Anyway, the Jam set up was a stair set with a single barrel handrail, a donkey dick and flat bar that all looked scarily close together. Thanks to a misscommunication between the organizers sketch and the scaffolder, the landing was accidently made twice as long as it was meant to be, resulting in way less smoking of knees on flat landings and slams into the barriers. Yay! The accidental scafolding also caused a new, personal favourite addition to the set up, a two metre high drop of the side of the landing to concrete.

The night's a little hazy now but Jossi won the skiers with hits including spins on and flips off the donkey dick.  I also liked his little front flip over the stairs, working the crowd. Kentaro Tsuda from Japan won most creative flair for ski, Adam Shaw won mens snowboard, Christy Prior won womens snowboard and Jamin Beattie won most creative flair for snowboard.
