Tales from the Volcano (and elsewhere...)

Hi, my name is Chantel...

Like a lot of you out there I jump in my car on a Friday night, leave the city lights behind, and drive for a few hours to Mt Ruapehu. I try to go snowboarding every weekend and Ohakune has become my second home.

I am a high-intermediate to advanced snowboarder, enjoy exploring out west at Turoa, and do the odd hike (or hike out) getting away from it all.

I also take a LOT of photos!
