Finally!!!! We get some snow..... Like most of us out there my winters are controlled by the weather. you know how it is, the more snow we have the better it gets, and after 3 weeks of sunshine snow was most defiantly appreciated.

After the busy holiday period i was starting to loose the plot a little, i don't get to ski enough in those two weeks, with work and crazy lift lines, then throw in thousands of holiday makers, then before i know it i have worked 40days straight and i start to get a little like stressed Eric........

So Tuesday and Wednesday this week the south island got smashed by a nice weather system, which got us all i little excited... Thursday night my phone goes off and it was camilla asking me to head to Ohau and meet up with Kiwi Legends Pete Oswald and Lyndon Sheehan to do a little filming for NZ Skier TV. i strongly recommend you google that stuff and have a look at (www.nzskier.com) and take a peek.... we also had the privilege of having the one and only Miss Camilla Stoddart taking some breathtaking photos, here they are... in fact here is her address, go have a look for your selves (www.whiteroompictures.com)

We arrive at Ohau and get greeted by a line off cars all with the same idea as us. so much hype and excitement all to get a few fresh turns. unfortunately for Ohau there had been a few avalanches up the hill that they were trying to clear before they allowed trucks up the road. in-fact one avi completely took out there lower tow at the bottom of the mountain.... it was a sad day for Ohau.

Something else happened this week..... My girlfriend went to Christchurch, this is what she got...... AAAAAAAWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
