Where do I start? Since i last spoke i have lost my club field virginity! I headed up to what can only be explained as the worlds most underrated ski fields i have had the privilege of experiencing. We made the drive from Wanaka to Christchurch ready for the 2009 K2 Chill, big mountain comps held at both Craigieburn Valley and at Mount Olympus. Unfortunately due to weather our 2 day event at Craigieburn didn't really happen but boy were we spoilt at Olympus. To tell you the truth my 1st run sucked but run 2 i had a ball, Im in the green if that helps. Big shout outs to all involved and this event is all about the people and the environment you are put in. A word of advice for anyone thinking about Chill series next year, DO IT!!!!!

We all know that Wanaka is the nuts and for a town this small we get some of the worlds top athletes all here to train. To tell you the truth I think what goes on in Wanaka and the level of skiers is sick! Last week we were fortunate to have the "unofficial" Official World Premiere of PBP new ski movie "every Day Is A Saturday" The event was held at the Cinema Paradiso and Salomon put on an amazing event. With Skiing legends J P Auclair, Anthony Boronowski, Simon Dumont, TJ Schiller, Josse Wells and Colby West (to name a few) it was a good show. Byron and myself had the pleasure of introducing the film before the night got a little messy to say the least.
So every year a few boys in the industry try to get together and we go heli skiing, this year it was the day after the Premier....Im not gunna lie, i felt awful but we still had an epic day. Here is a little edit i put together on my P.O.V helmet cam. Hope you like.
