Treble Cone has enjoyed a great run of cold temps for snowmaking combined with blue sky days for enjoying skiing and snowboarding over the last fortnight.

The Saddle Basin, Home Basin, and Summit Slopes, plus the free beginner Platter are all currently open daily, plus the Jazz Rail Park in the Saddle Basin and the Jazz Kids Fun Trail on the Platter are open.

The skiing on trail has been very good, with signature trails Main Street and Easy Rider in the Home Basin, plus Raffills Run and South Ridge in the Saddle Basin all open and groomed. Off-piste for advanced riders the snow cover on the Summit and upper Saddle Basin is lots of fun with a 130cm deep snow cover at the top of the Saddle Basin.

Popular local kids programme Riders and Sliders kicked off today, and additionally Treble Cone has launched a new Masters Freeride programme coached by eight times NZ Big Mountain champion, past winner of the North American Freeski Championships, and the first man to ski the West Face of Mt Aspiring Geoff Small.
