- 11th Jan: Maria Kuzma 5th in the Canadian Freeskiing Championship on the Freeskiing World Tour.
- 13th Jan: Nick Hyne 4th and Nick Brown 11th in the 8th Red Bull Nanshan Open on the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour.
- 13th Jan: Beau-James and brother Jackson Wells 1st in both the ski halfpipe and ski slopestyle comps in their age groups at the United States of America Snowboard Association (USASA) event at Copper Mountain.
- 18th Jan: Jossi Wells 1st in the Superpipe at the Wendy's Invitational in Ogden Utah on the Winter Dew Tour.
- 18th Jan: Shelly Gotlieb 5th in the Snowboard slopestyle at the Burton European Open at Laax in Switzerland.
- 18th Jan: Adam Hall 1st in the Slalom at the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) Alpine Skiing World Cup races in Abtenau, Austria.
- 19th Jan: Taylor Rapley 1st in the two Slalom races at the Junior Nationals comps at Crested Butte in Colorado.
- 22nd Jan: Jossi Wells 2nd place in the Freeski Superpipe on the Winter Dew Tour in Breckenridge Colorado.
- 30th Jan: Nick Brown 3rd, Stef Zeestraten 4th, Nick Hyne 5th in the slopestyle at the LG Snowboard FIS World Cup in Calgary.
- 31st Jan: Jossi Wells 2nd in the ski Superpipe, 5th in the ski Big Air & 7th in the ski slopestyle at the Winter X Games XIV in Apsen.
- 2nd Feb: Janina Kuzma 3rd at Nissan Freeride de Chamonix Mont Blanc in the Freeride World Tour 2010.
- 8th Feb: Kendall Brown 1st in the halfpipe at the Burton Canadian Open in Calgary.
- 8th Feb: Jossi Wells 5th, Byron Wells 7th in the Winter Dew Tour's Toyota Champs at Mount Snow.
- 8th Feb: Jossi Wells 1st, overall winner of the 2010 Winter Dew Tour.
A big thanks to SPARC which has enabled Snow Sports NZ put in place a strategy and programme to help these athletes acheive and exceed their goals. With results like these there is every change that New Zealand may see a medal in snow sports in this month's Olympics in Vancouver.
