This four star Freeride World Tour Qualifier put Mt Ruapehu on the map in the Big Mountain Freeride World.

Competitors ride the gnarliest terrain Whakapapa Ski Area can offer and are judged over a several days to claim stake to bragging rights and massive winnings.

The Event will run on the best 3 weather days out of the 7 days available. Further inforamtion will be made available closer to the date.

2011's Registration Night is set for the evening of the 4th of September, with the main action set to go down on the first 3 good weather days between the 5th and 11th of September at Whakapapa Ski Area.
