Parklife International - CANCELLED

When : 4:30 p.m. Sat, 16th - Sun, 17th August 2014
Where : Earnslaw Park, Queenstown

We're absolutely gutted to tell you that due to difficulties securing sponsors for the Parklife Invitational we've made the hard decision to cancel the 2014 event. For those of you who made it to the PLI last year you'll know how awesome it was, not only watching some of the top skiers and snowboarders battle it out in the rail jam, but also watching some incredible FMX stunts.

We'd like to thank all those involved over the years to who turned our little rail jam into an awesome annual event on the Queenstown calendar (even the torrential downpour couldn't stop us in 2012). As you can imagine we're really disappointed but we still hope to bring The Remarkables downtown with an event of some description, so watch this space. If you have any questions or comments please email

The Parklife Invitational is back to rock downtown Queenstown with International FMX demos and a rail jam in the Queenstown Rec Ground.

The Remarks Terrain Park crew will bring their snow and their rails down for one night only so 30 invited freestylers can bust out their tricks for cash prizes in front of a crowd of thousands.

Freestyle motocross riders will add adrenalin-fuelled big air tricks by jumping 100kg dirt bikes over the rail set-up.

Gates open 4.30pm and tickets are $5 per person. Event runs 5.30pm - 9.30pm

The best way to get there is make your way to town and then walk to the entry (see the event map on this website).
