Winter is always coming!
Anyone got any pic of the high flyer relocation? Know how it's going?
I wanna try and have a look at the end of the week. Either Friday or Sunday. but I also want to go up Whakapapa, so will see how I go, if I succeed I will post some pics, cos no one from RAL seems to have a summer report.
Ease up on RAL not giving out updates! Its January most of the marketing staff are on leave and doing advertising work away from Ruapehu. Besides that they have no official marketing manager at present.
Sure there are people working who do not have limited access to update the website at whaka but its hard to see around the hill from there.
Pouring the concreate for the foundations and letting them set is proving a challenge with the weather (rain practically every day) once that done it will happen real quick putting the towers up.
I doubt your going to hear much until closer to the season.
btw, is it not time to start a Ruapehu 2012 thread?
I don't think anyone is asking for a detailed blow by blow, and we are all very well aware of the marketing situation.
Even just a quick post or two to say we've made a start, we'll have pics up later or a detailed blog write up in Feb/March, that kind of thing, it's not *that* hard.
is colin living in a cave on ruapehu these days? his updates are so insightful
