Mt Rua Life Passes Available
Did you know that Mt Ruapehu life passes are available all the time, shows their great skills on the website keeping it secret, I only found out when they rang me and asked my intentions of upgrading from my expired 5 year pass(I will upgrade). But was surprised to hear that anyone can purchase one, I told her they need to advertise it (at least include it on season pass price page) if they want new people to buy one.
So thought I would spread the word.

Don't know how much - I cant find it. They only told me the discounted prices in the phone call.

I understand you can just phone customer services anytime and ask/purchase a life pass. They want to save the big promotions of them for them they are raising money for a new lift

I found it written on one of my documents, this is just for anyone wanting to purchase:
$4,290 for 'Life' Pass and for a 'Life Plus' pass is $5,575

I just upgraded mine to a life plus, can't lose really if I happen to injure myself can just pass it on or sell it. I paid for my 5 season one in the first season and figure have paid for my life one already with the other 4 years. Its worth keeping an eye on Trade me also I saw one last year that did'nt sell with a $3000 reserve!

That last part is a worry. Something that was told not by pub gossip but may just know a bit more than many of us. It was that Turoa may be sold in the next few years! Something to do with the lease renewal provisons. Probably wont amount to anything if RAL are the only bidder but there is always that possibility.
Things are really getting tight on the financial and competition stakes one the reasons the season passes are still so cheap. I can not see the logic in selling life passes for the long term to keep the level of service and longevity of a season we all expect.
