If it hasn't dumped over night, only gapers rush to get up by 9am, if there's no new snow, why rush? Unless you want to get some turns in before work, which is very doable at cp.
At CP as an example a 7hr skiing day costs approx $13 an hr for an adult day pass so if you get there an hr or 2 late that is money down the drain in my opinion.
