its all about options bro. 1st 6 of mine are kirkwood, next 6 mt rose, 2 of alpine and one of what we woke up to 6-7times on the trip

I was working at the University of Oslo for a few weeks at the end of last year. It's crazy being in a country where skiing is the national sport. Hemsedal is the second biggest resort, still small by euro standards, but most of the young people who aren't park rats are backcountry fiends - telemark, randonnee, splitboard - all huge!
the peak gets ridden but it can be a suspect slope for slides but when its on there are 4 main lines down..will find another pic...never really crowded unless the bootpack is in , horrible to see it heelslided in the afternoon...every run i have done there i remember..esp the climb up..

Favourite day of the season: slaying the freshies in the brief hours of sunshine between snowfalls.
