This new mono pitch 3 bedroom modern holiday house is in beautiful Rangataua, near Ohakune. The large open plan living area has bifold doors opening onto a full length sundeck with magnificent mountain views of Mt Ruapehu.

The 2 main bedrooms (with Queen sized beds) also open onto the deck and have uninterrupted views of Mt Ruapehu. This house is ideal for couples or families, as a 3rd bedroom has two double bunks, enabling up to 8 people to stay!

As the closest accommodation to Mount Ruapehus Turoa ski field it is hard to match the Powderhorn Chateau for its location and facilities. Onsite is an indoor heated swimming pool, a snow centre with ski and board hire as well as a drying room. Our two restaurants, the Powderkeg and the Matterhorn, offer a high standard of dining and the Powderkeg is a favourite for aprski or for relaxing after a day in the outdoors.
