The Wanaka Snowsports Club does not have accommodation and is focused towards promoting competitive snowsports in the Wanaka area.

The Wanaka Ski And Snowsports Club is the strongest represented club on N.Z. snowsports representative teams and we have many NZ Champions. We support snowboarding, cross country skiing, masters ski improvement classes, race training and freeskiing.

Delivering the most up to date teaching techniques and coaching tips from the most highly qualified and experienced trainers and coaches, this 10-week instructor-training course will prepare you for both the SBINZ Certificate in Snowboard Instruction and Stage One qualification. You will also be taught the fundamentals of freestyle coaching from top pro riders and national team coaches at the world-renowned freestyle resort, Snow Park NZ. We are working to add a Praschberger mono ski to our equipment inventory. This will enable more people to ski each day and also offer an option of rig which as of now is impossible.

Criffel Peak View offer a stylish 3 bedroom 3 bathroom cottage and also a 2 bedroom apartment for rent on a weekly basis during the ski season. The cottage is situated in a quiet cul de sac and is extremely warm and cosy with 3 double bedrooms (2 with ensuites and a third large bathroom with separate bath tub) and a lovely log burner fire. The open plan lounge and kitchen are north facing so it’s very sunny, there’s a garage, laundry, plenty of off-street parking and it’s a super-easy 5-7 min walk into the town centre. This cottage sleeps 6-8 people and is $1700 per week for 6 people which includes all linen, cleaning and WiFi internet access.

The apartment is situated at the top of the garden with fabulous views of mountains. It’s got 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, huge open plan lounge, full kitchen, large deck out the front, plus a courtyard BBQ area out the back and an internally accessed garage. Heating is via heatpump in the lounge and all beds have electric blankets. this apartment can sleep 5 people and all beds can be made up as doubles or twins and there’s also a sofabed in the lounge. The apartment is $1600 per week for 4 people and this includes all linen, cleaning and WiFi internet access.

Lake Wanaka Lodge is situated in a quiet location only 4 mins walk to lake, restaurants, cafes & shops. We offer comfortable studio rooms at affordable prices.
