Skia ora %%First Name%%,

Merry Christmas everyone. We hope that you enjoy your summer vacation, have fun and travel safe. For those of you that are traveling to the northern hemisphere to get some pow the season has started early across the planet which makes you wonder about climate change.

England and Europe is already getting heavy and frequent snow storms which recently caused havoc with heavy flooding across England and killer blizzards across Belgium and northern Germany. North America too has also seen a great start to the season from coast to coast. Heavy flooding across California translating to a record snowfall for Mammoth Mountain who received 154” (391cm) in 3 days! We can just dream of that sort of snow in New Zealand. After the latest first snowfall in Japan in 120 years, heavy snow has now hit wide areas of Japan from December 10th so it is now looking much better to hit the slopes in the land of the rising sun.

If you’re thinking of heading overseas this season make sure that you give Dive Fish Snow a call.

Back home, what a crazy spring and start to summer! After a warm winter temperatures cooled down in October and into November. Now, even though things have warmed up again the odd southerly blast comes through with snow for the mountains. Cardrona had 15cms of snow on the 7th of December and check out this vid at Hutt after the same storm!!

In our latest poll let us know if you have bought, or will be buying and early season pass for a New Zealand ski or board area for 2013... or maybe you think that the Mayans were right and there’s no point.

Whatever you do this summer, get into it and have a blast.
