Skia ora %%First Name%%,
The big news for us is that we have launched our Instagram feed on our homepage. Check out the feed and it you want your snow photos to appear there just hashtag us #snowconz.
What a first week of the school holidays it's been. Once the early week storm cleared there have been fantastic conditions at most areas the length of the country. Rainbow and Whakapapa are still a little lean but it's still early days but most, especially in the east have deep deep powder.
The forecast for the weekend is for a cold front (with a bit more grunt) to move onto the south coast and start it's march up the country. We use snow-forecast.com for our forecast information. Metservice, Blueskies, Metvuw, MetOcean and Predict Weather all produce their own reports. This weekend they are particularly different. What we can take from it though is that we are in for warm rain over much of the country from Thursday in the south to the middle of next week in the north. Check your local snow reports and pick your days.
Make sure that you check out the go on the snow. The New Zealand Snow Sports Events Calendar is updated regularly. Some upcoming key events are;
