Snow is very patchy now, and firm base is building higher up. cooler early winter conditions higher up has locked up the snow on the top tow.
Last snowfall was 4cm on Thu, 17th May

will no doubt be slippery higher up; take care. Please take care at the head of the gorge and other shaded areas of the track, as snow/ice in the shadows is very firm/slippery.
