Her FIS points were 79 which she was pleased with in this stage of her training. She was less than 40 seconds behind the winner.

Calder, who is still recovering from an injury to her wrist, reports that her wrist is continuing to improve and the training she has been building is slowly starting to deliver.

While she didn't fare as well last week at a World Cup race in Davos Switzerland, largely as a result of selecting the wrong wax, she was happy with her wax yesterday.

Calder elected to pull out of the Finnish races as the course did not suit her level of training for freestyle and she did not realise the classic course, which was a last minute change by the organisers, would have been ideal.
