"The Ozone Tubing Park is a purpose built area designed for maximum fun. You can sit, lie down, go backwards and spin yourself around as you slide down purpose cut tubing lanes. It's a very social activity for the young and the young at heart.

Meg (L) and Joss from Sydney discovered the delights of tubing at The Remarkables ski area in Queenstown yesterday.

Mr Lawrence, Ski Area Manager, said tubing offered a fun break from skiing or snowboarding and an alternative snow experience.

"A lot of parents bring their little ones up to the Park to have some fun in the snow and gain confidence in the mountain environment - it's a great day out for both parents and kids."

The Ozone Tubing Park is open daily from 10.00am to 3.00pm (conditions dependent) with bookings essential through The Remarkables Guest Services Office - phone 03 442 4612.
