Members of the TC Team will benefit not only from free skiing at Treble Cone but also receive media support to help them grow their profile and with a view to securing sponsorship, providing them with the means to compete on the international circuit.
Phil Dominick (22) from Dunedin is New Zealand's top snowboard cross athlete and former junior world champion. He has already started on his four-year campaign for the Winter Olympics 2014 and Treble Cone's support will help him reach his immediate goal of qualifying for the snowboard cross World Cup circuit in 2010/11.
Sam Smoothy from Wanaka is already well-known on the big mountain freeski circuit with a number of international titles under his belt. His long-term goal is to win the Freeride World Tour, for which he was the first male New Zealander to qualify and he will be honing his skills on Treble Cone's renowned chutes and big mountain terrain this season.
Pete Oswald (24) of Blenheim is another big mountain skier who is making his mark on the international circuit. He has battled his way back from serious injury and is now planning a season of training on Treble Cone's most challenging terrain before returning to Europe to improve his Freeride World Qualifying ranking.
Ali McGlinn
The final member of the TC Team is 18-year-old Allie McGlinn from Christchurch, one of New Zealand's most promising young ski racers. A member of the National Ski Team and Junior World Championship Team, her goal is to represent New Zealand at Sochi in 2014. Training on the same Treble Cone terrain used by top European ski teams will help her in this quest.
