The next generation of extreme skiers have been learning to ski the most thrilling big mountain terrain under the expert guidance of one of the world’s top freeskiers, Geoff Small, at Treble Cone Ski Area, near Lake Wanaka, this week.

With eight national titles under his belt and numerous international podiums, Geoff Small is one of the legends of the freeski world. Combine his expert instruction with the almost limitless possibilities for adventurous skiers with Treble Cone's natural gullies, chutes and pipes to deliver a clinic that opens up a whole new dimension to clients' skiing.

The TC Freeski Camps are aimed at advanced skiers with a focus on providing a challenging and rewarding experience, while building confidence to safely ski the big mountain.

"It is a great opportunity to be able to give something back to the sport and help develop the next generation of freeski talent. There are certainly some children with a huge amount of aptitude who will be performing on the big stage in years to come," said Geoff Small.

The TC Freeski Camps are offered to children from 11-17 years during the NZ school holiday. This first week put 15 children through their paces, with spots still available for next week's clinic, July 12-16, costing $450.00 for five days on-mountain training, a full board and tuition package is also available.
