For the third year running Salomon will be hosting a movie premiere in Wanaka. The event will again be held at the Cinema Paradiso and will be more than just a movie night. There is an element of secrecy about the name of the film - as its going to be the first screening in the world, even before the production companies official release next month. Those in the know will have an inkling as to what it will be...
Neil Hawker Salomon NZ Team Manager says " Its a great night for kids and families, as well as hard core skiers - We have a lot of the athletes from the movie at the premiere, they will be signing posters and giving away spot prizes. Which makes it a really awesome event for everyone"
The event on Saturday 28th August will kick off at around 5 pm with poster signing from some of the movies stars. The first screening will be held at 5.30 pm and a second screening at 6.45 pm. We urge people to book tickets early - tickets sold out last year and these will be the only two screenings of this movie.
There will be lots of spot prizes from Salomon, Dakine, NZ Skier Magazine, Atomic, Bula and more. Last year it was a riot with prizes flying all over the place.
For the older kids there will be an after party with live music at Wanaka HQ. There will be drink specials from Export 33 and Jagermeister. There will be live music from 10.30 pm til late.
