Ranked number five on the Freeride World Tour, five-time Volkl NZ Open Freeski champion, twice Canadian Ledcor freeski Champion and crowned World Heli Challenge Champion in 2009, Janina has made ground-breaking strides since strapping on skis for her first competition appearance five years ago.
Winning The North Face Big Mountain in 2009, Janina proved to be one of the most confident big mountain female skiers out there. Her impressive contest results aside, Janina's progressive hard-charging style and unwavering enthusiasm ensure this big mountain hero's career has only just begun.
Australian born but now residing in Wanaka, NZ, Janina has been a member of the New Zealand Freeski team for the past three years. Her first appearance was in 2005 competing in the Canadian Freeski tour, where she won both the Lake Louise and Fernie stops. Kuzma is also an accomplished park skier, with podiums both in slopestyle and pipe.

Janina will be joining The North Face Australian team rider Charlie Timmins, as well as New Zealand riders Fraser McDougall and Mitchey Grieg. All four are participating in this month's 2010 Volkl Freeski Open, currently taking place in New Zealand.
