The Streets BWMSnow Minishred final for the 2010 season was held yesterday in the Dirty Dog Stomping Ground minipark at Mt Hutt.

Competitors came from as far as Queenstown and Wanaka to step up the competition. The first Minishred was more of a rail jam style where all competitors got a prize from Streets and BWM Snow, but this time round we decided to test out their skills and put a bit more pressure on them all and have 2 official judged runs. From this, the kids did so well throwing down some epic backflips/frontflips/dropping in switch on the features wherever possible and so much more!

The Under 12 Female Ski section was a ripper; all girls so confident on the biggest jump in the park, maybe its time for you to get into the T.R.I.C Big Park...but don't forget your helmets!

The Under 12 Ski Male Category was also epic, with the Porteous brothers dominating - throwing clean and stylish tricks... solid boys, keep up the sibling rivalry and good on you for hugging it out on the podium!

Another stand out was our buddy Angus Gray, hucking a back flip off the biggest jump which we got sweet photo of (poster material for the next rail jam). Look out for your great photo on www.facebook.com/mthutt along with photos of most of the skiers and riders in the event.

We look forward to our next event up here, it'll be a step up from the minishred for sure and all shredders are invited to sign up. More info on this will be released at the end of August. Thanks everyone for another great Minishred, I look forward to MC-ing the next prizegiving since I got such a great response from my jokes...
