After several days of waiting out challenging weather, the Australia New Zealand Cup Races finally went ahead today with New Zealand’s Tim Cafe placing highest amongst the kiwi men taking sixth with a time of 1:29.71.

The Men's race was won by Sweden's Johan Oehagen with a time of 1:26.46, followed by Mark Engel (USA), securing silver in 1:28.96. Luke Laidlaw, of Australia, secured bronze in 1:29.00.
The women's race was won by Nina Loeseth, of Norway, in 1:27.56. Slovakia's, Barbara Kantorova secured silver with 1:29.75 while Moe Hanaoka (JPN) secured bronze with 1:30.45.
New Zealand's Lucie Tait-Jamieson was the top placing kiwi woman taking eighth with a time of 1:46.40.
