Coronet Peak

Mon, 31st August at 9:08 a.m.

Weather Conditions

0°C, Cloud

High broken clouds are casually rolling through this morning. Visibility is excellent and we're looking forward to a calm, mild afternoon with lots of fine sunny spells. The freezing level is above our peak at 1800m and it will remain there until later this evening. Some light precipitation is forecast overnight so we may see some fresh snow tomorrow morning.......

Road Conditions & Traffic

The road is in great condition and chain free for all vehicles. Please be aware of loose grit in the centre line as it can be just as slippery as snow.

Snow Conditions

Average depth of 120cm

Spring has come early but there's still plenty of snow in off-piste areas. The superb coverage is allowing everyone to go off exploring and it's reducing our lift queues to less than a couple of minutes. The groomed trails will soften quickly as the snow pack breaks up and becomes wet and slushy. The beginner area is nice and quiet with lots of fun terrain features to help you progress quickly.

Last snowfall was 3cm on Tue, 25th Aug
