Temple Basin carpark is located beside State Highway 73, 4km west of Arthur's Pass Township. The highway is sealed for its complete length between Christchurch and Greymouth so it is open most of the time.

22cm of snow over night and snow to continue to fall throughout the day to 1100m. This is going to make for some fantastic skiing over the rntire mountain.
