Skiora,

There are cold conditions acorss the country today with a moderate to strong southerly wind at all ski & board areas.  Dress warmly, the snow should be great, if a little wind affected, depending where you are.  I'm afraid that it is not looking good for tomorrow as the winds will strengthen and tend nor-west ahead of an approaching low from the south Tasman Sea.  Expect gale and even storm force winds depending where you are on Sunday & Monday with snow in the southern fields and Canterbury (especially in the west, TC, Ohau & Temple) on Saturday.  More snow is expected again from the south-east on Tuesday in Canterbury and the Mackenzie.

Snowco needs your help!  We would love it if you could help Porters with their dream. Porters has a dream and needs your help!!  They are planning a world class alpine village in our back yard, more employment, more tourism, more terrain.  All you need to do is write a few words about why it would be good for NZ.
